Village, Courtyard, Healing – A Women's Therapy Center

This project envisions a therapy center for refugee women in the rural village of Lüssow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Located on the site of a former train station, it combines modular housing, communal spaces, and therapeutic facilities into a small, healing village.

The symbolic reuse of the old station building creates a place of arrival and transition. Surrounding it, modular courtyard homes offer safe, semi-private living spaces. A community house – inspired by the Italian Lavatoio pubblico – supports informal exchange, while a flexible therapy house provides space for workshops and activities.
